2024 Hino Dealer of the Year Awards
On Saturday, February 22, Hino Australia hosted their annual prestigious Hino Dealer of the Year Awards at the Langham Hotel on the Gold Coast and many of the CMI Hino Melbourne team were excited to be a part of such a fantastic night.
Hino Australia’s annual awards ceremony celebrates excellence across its dealer network, highlighting those who have demonstrated outstanding performance in sales, service, and customer experience.
On the night we were extremely proud to be awarded the Service Excellence (Metro) Silver Award, which highlights our ongoing dedication to providing aftersales support, expertise and exceptional customer care.
Our Derrimut and Campbellfield Service Managers, Trevor Sant and Adam Blain, were proud to accept the award on the night.
“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire service team. We take great pride in ensuring our customers receive the best possible support, and this recognition reinforces our commitment to service excellence and customer experience," said Trevor.
Adding to the success of our service team, we were also awarded the Sales Medium Duty Top Selling Dealer Award, recognising our outstanding performance in medium-duty truck sales. This achievement highlights our team’s commitment to providing our valued customers with high-quality Hino trucks and exceptional sales support.
Accepting the award was our Sales Manager, Bryan Leech, who said, "Winning this award is a tremendous honour and a reflection of the dedication of our entire sales team. Our goal has always been to match our customers with the right Hino truck for their needs while delivering the highest level of customer service. This recognition is a testament to our team’s hard work and strong relationships with our customers."
We were also proud to be recognised with the Parts Sales Target Award, showcasing our team’s commitment to providing high-quality parts and outstanding customer service in the aftermarket sector.
Accepting the award was our Parts Manager, Scott Thomas, who said, "This award is a fantastic achievement for our parts team, who work tirelessly to ensure our customers have access to the right parts when they need them. Our focus has always been on efficiency, reliability, and exceptional service, and this recognition validates our hard work and dedication."
We were also excited to receive the Outstanding Service Retention Award. This recognition is a testament to our amazing team going above and beyond for our service customers. We would also like to thank our customers for continuing to choose CMI Hino Melbourne. We couldn’t have achieved this without them and we will continue to strive towards delivering great service and expertise.
CMI Hino Melbourne General Manager, Marta Gawlik, expressed gratitude towards the entire CMI Hino Melbourne team and couldn’t be prouder of our achievements on the night.

As well as the awards received by our team, our sister dealership, CMI Hino Adelaide, also earned well-deserved recognition, taking home the Sales Excellence (Metro) Gold Award for the second consecutive year.
Additionally, the dealership was honoured with the President’s Award, which acknowledges dealerships that excel across all facets of the business, along with taking home an Outstanding Service Retention Award as well as being recognised for 55 years of representing Hino Trucks Australia.
