Celebrating success at the Hino Australia 2023 Dealer of the Year Awards!
On Saturday 24th February, Hino Australia hosted their annual Dealer of the Year awards in Sydney, and we’re excited to let you know that we won a number of significant awards on the night beginning with receiving Silver in Service Excellence.
Service Manager, Adam Blain accepted this award and remarked, “We take a lot of pride in the work we do, and this award reflects the dedication and commitment of the team and the effort they put in every day to deliver an exceptional service experience.”
The parts department also achieved a parts sales milestone of over $6m and received a Silver award for Parts Excellence. Accepting this award on behalf of the team, Parts Manager Paul Fleming said, “I am extremely proud of the parts team and their dedication towards providing outstanding customer service. Often behind the scenes, the team puts in an amazing effort to always make sure our customers are happy.”
CMI Hino was further recognised during the evening for both their outstanding service retention and for achieving sales of over 150 units.
The Dealer of the Year awards are designed to recognise the collective efforts of the Hino Australia dealer network and in a year where all dealers elevated their levels of customer service, CMI Hino Melbourne General Manager, Mark Dempsey recognised his entire teams’ efforts.
“All departments whether that’s service, sales, parts or administration continue to prioritise the needs of our customers and I’m incredibly proud of the hard work the CMI Hino Melbourne team has put in over the past year.”
“Winning awards in the service and parts categories speaks volumes about the commitment and collective efforts of everyone involved in those teams,” concludes Mark.
Sister dealership, CMI Hino Adelaide also collected a number of awards on the night including being crowned Metropolitan Dealer of the Year Award for the third year in a row.
General Manager, Nathan Chatfield accepted this award on behalf of the CMI Hino Adelaide team.
“I couldn’t be prouder of this team – every single person in our dealership consistently works hard across all areas of the business and stands by our CMI Hino values, and this award is simply a tribute to that,” said Nathan.
“While we don’t come to work to necessarily win awards, being recognised in this way is certainly a wonderful acknowledgement of the hard work the team put in each and every day.”
“We have a long-standing relationship with Hino, having been a Hino dealer for almost 55 years now and we are honoured to continue to represent such a quality brand and product,” Nathan concluded.
This year the 2023 Hino Dealer of the Year awards were held in a custom-designed marquee set up on the Bennelong Lawn within the Royal Botanical Gardens alongside Sydney Harbour and attended by Satoshi Ogiso, President, and CEO of Hino Motors, Ltd and Richard Emery, President, and CEO of Hino Australia.
