Next Generation Hino Roadshow
To celebrate 80 Years of progress, innovation and always looking forward, the CMI Hino Melbourne team were excited to host the Hino National Roadshow at our dealership in mid October.
Not even the rain could turn away our valued customers and it was great to see so many familiar and new faces join us to check out the Next Generation Hino range.
With a barista on site making delicious coffee and a large selection of morning tea treats available, we were ready for a great day and the chance to show off what the Hino range can offer.
Our MC for the day was Supercars presenter and commentator, Neil Crompton, who took the opportunity to welcome our special guests and give an overview of what was sure to be an exciting and action packed day.
Hino Australia representatives were on hand to provide informative and interesting presentations on not only the Hino Product Range, but also the Hino Hybrid system and also Hino-Connect. It was fantastic to see all three of these sessions well attended and with everyone eager to find out more about how the Hino Range can work for their business and the technology available across the range.
For those who weren’t a part of the information sessions, the CMI Hino Melbourne sales team were on hand to take guests through the full Hino truck range including the 300 Series and 700 Series. There was a fantastic selection of set ups to choose from and test drive – Tautliners, Tipper and Dog, Hook Lifts and a 40ft Low Loader were available plus the Hino Hybrid which proved very popular.
The day wasn’t just a fantastic opportunity for our customers to get behind the wheel of our impressive trucks, we were excited to have Team 18 join us for lunch and a special Q&A session fresh from a big weekend at Bathurst.
While guests enjoyed a mouth-watering lunch from Jinee’s Kitchen, Team 18 drivers, Mark Winterbottom and Scott Pye, were joined by Team 18 Racing owner, Charlie Schwerkolt, for an in depth conversation with Neil Crompton. Not only did they discuss the weekend that was Bathurst, they also talked about their careers, their love of the sport and what the future holds for the team.
Not only did guests get to learn more about Team 18, after the Q&A they had the opportunity to have their photo taken with the drivers, check out the show car and get their hands on an autographed poster from the drivers
